During warm weather, you and your guests can enjoy the surrounding landscaping which includes a small arbor, a seating area near the fish pond, and a private conversation area with a small fountain.
The
Armstrong-Mauldin House is unique to the Rock Hill area. It was designed by
renowned architect A.D.
Gilchrist and built for Rock Hill mayor W.R. Armstrong in 1921.
In 1923 it was purchased as home for the family of W.M. Mauldin,
President of the Rock Hill Coca Cola Bottling Company. It remained in
the family until 1969. The Woman’s Club purchased it in 1971.

Description:
Size of party limited to 125 or fewer depending on the season. Parking
available on the street is limited. Neighboring parking lots available by advance
arrangement. House heated and air-conditioned. Staircase suitable for
bride’s entry; Bride’s and Groom’s dressing rooms. Ramp at
sunroom back door. Wheel chair accessible on main floor. Modern kitchen
with refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher and ice machine. Also available
for rent: Coffee makers, flatware, wine glasses, glass plates, chafing dishes,
matching card tables and chairs with seat and back padding, and table cloths.
Key Policies:
• Renters must organize their own caterering
• Alcohol is allowed
• Tents are allowed
• Amplified music is not allowed outside the house.
• Smoking is not permitted
• Rental fees vary with day of week; damage deposit
required.
